Happy Sunday, stampers! This will be short and sweet, as I am having my Hostess Appreciation party today! Can't wait to see my stamping friends! Luckily, Laurie is our Paper Players hostess and she has a fun clean and simple challenge for us that I know everyone is going to love:
I had all kinds of ideas swirling around in my head for this, but the light bulb moment came when I remembered this fabulous DSP that SU has in the current mini catalog, Best Dressed, which features all kinds of fashionista stuff! Woohoo, perfect for my CAS creation! I used the FMS sketch:
and went to work, letting the paper do most of the work:
I used a plate to trace a partial circle on the back of my DSP panel, then "oblonged" it a little. I had a scrap of some Valentine DSP from a few years back poking around on my desk, and I thought the two patterns looked good together, so I added a little strip! The sentiment is from Stitched All Around; I stamped it in Lovely Lipstick, cut it with my cutter just so that it would fit inside my Mint Macaron diecut panel from Stitched So Sweetly:
A little pop of Mint Macaron ribbon and my CAS creation is done! I imagine that this DSP will be making an appearance on a lot of cards this week, LOL! And since the Krafty Chicks Challenge this week is CAS, I am sending it on over there as well!
So now what will YOU create? There are so many fun options with this, just remember to make it CAS! You can see what all the designers created by popping over to the Paper Players blog...you'll get lots of inspiration! Share yours too! And thanks for popping in today!
Cassidy loves playing with her Play Doh Drill and Fill dentist set...yuck. What is the fascination of making play-doh teeth????? Creativity comes in all forms, I guess!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Such a sweet whimsical card LeAnne.
Totally fun card! Love that DSP!
I LOve your card... another adorable DSP! and Tom would love playing with that Play-Dough set!!! Maybe you have a future Dental Lab Technician in your future?
=]
Maybe she will become a dentist! I really like that DP and it works great for this challenge...such a cute card!
What a perfect, fashionable card, LeAnne! It's adorable. Oh my gosh...I want a Play Doh Drill and Fill dentist set!!! It must be the old science teacher in me. Have a wonderful week!
Perhaps Cassidy will become one of those specialized dental techs who make dentures. That's a very worthy profession.
Great CAS card, Leanne! I worked that sketch today using...a PLATE! Great minds!
I like the fun background lipstick and the curve cut. Clever.
This designer paper is so fun with the sketch! Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches this week, LeAnne!
Awesome idea to use a plate for your half circle and that dsp is so perfectly "fashionable"! Love the ribbon and the perfect strip of retired dsp on the side.
Oh this is fun! I've never seen this play doh set, what a hoot!
Short, sweet and perfectly CAS - love it! These papers are just the best and well done on the curve - this sketch was a challenge for me! Love Cassidy's teeth set - I've never seen this before but I know two children who would have been thrilled with something similar!! Hope the hostess party was fun.
LeAnne, this paper and this sentiment were a marriage made in heaven. I love the stripe down the side and backing the sentiment with the green really makes it pop. Fabulous use of the sketch, too!
Hugs
Jaydee
Love those papers and your sentiment is perfect! I have to admit Play Doh teeth are totally new to me, it is amazing the toys they come up with!
Oh, you know i LOVE this fashionista card! The paper and sentiment are just fabulous! That red and white stripe is perfect to showcase your DSP! Just fabulous! Have a super weekend, My Friend! XX
Your card is CAS-tastic, LeAnne! I love the way you used the sketch as well. Play-doh teeth? That's a new one but she looks like she's having fun with it. Maybe a future dentist in-the-making?
