I used my Stamparatus to stamp the house in white craft ink on Crumb Cake cardstock; my white ink pad is splotchy on a good day, no matter how many times I re-ink it, so being able to stamp the image several times to get good coverage was wonderful! I heat-embossed it with white embossing powder and colored it with a variety of SU blends:
I used a white watercolor pencil to color the snow and highlighted it with a Wink of Stella pen! I used a rectangle stitched die to cut it out and mounted it on some gumdrop DSP. The sentiment was stamped, embossed and fussy-cut, and I did add a wee bit of shading to give it more of a 3D look:
I just love how this turned out! Sweet and fun! Cassidy liked it so much, she wanted to make one too! She cut her house out and put it on a snowy hill:
I hadn't let her use my blends yet, but she asked me why her house was so "streaky", so the next project she made, I cautiously let her use them! She did a good job with them, but she has more color variety with the regular SU markers, so for now, she's still only allowed to use them, LOL! I love how she colored her tree!!! All in all, I think this is a pretty cute creation!! So happy you popped it to visit today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

Both cards are so sweet. Cassidy is your protege. My white craft ink has always been horrible. I hate using it but sometime you've gotta do what you gotta do :-)

My granddaughter wanted to buy some Copic markers but I was hesitant to let her spend her hard earned cash on them so told her she could try mine out first. The resulting work of art convinced me that even at 11 years old, she was ready. I'll send you a pix of her project - amazing! Needless to say, she has some of her own and also uses mine and several of my demo buddies have given her their old blendability markers too.

Adorable! That DSP and that image were made for each other! You are good with those blends.....I still struggle! And I only let Emma use my markers and not my blends too....lol....

I like Cassidy's version as well. Very cool that she gets inspiration from Grandma and runs with it. My 6-year-old niece absolutely loves coming over to my place and crafting with me. She's even told me before that the crafting she did at her day-care center was not "real crafting because the projects they made are not as pretty as the ones she makes with me." LOL!
