Happy Sunday, everyone! It's time for another Paper Players challenge and Laurie, our very own die cut maven, has an awesome challenge for us today:
Woohoo and yeehaw! I had a blast making this card! I have been hoarding this Cosmo Cricket Wanted DSP for a long time (I think I should write the purchase date on the back of my 6x6 pads so I know just how long I have been hoarding them, LOL!), and used it with the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:
So here we go:
My image is one I won from 100 Proof Press, and I don't think it's ever seen ink! It saw Chocolate Chip ink on this card, and it was complemented with a diecut horseshoe cut from some old Bronze cardstock and a hank of "lariat":
The whole panel was mounted on a Mint Macaron card base which was sponged with Chocolate Chip ink. The inside was stamped with some sentiments from Endless Birthday Wishes and YeeHaw:
What a fun challenge! I hope you'll play along with your Western-themed creation! Check out what the others did right here:
LOL....enjoy your day!

LeAnne your cowboy card is awesome - what a great stamp! I love those vintage western papers and the addition of the brass horseshoe and lariat are the perfect finishing touches. What a lovely tidy bedroom too!

You have to hoard, you never know when you may need "it"! Aren't you glad you kept that awesome DP and that cute stamp. They were perfect for the challenge and super cute. I love the lariat too, great touch. Looks like Cassidy has been busy!
That fabulous dsp takes me back to the days when I had some too, and loved making western cards with it! This is fantastic with that image and beautiful background design! Cassidy's room looks so neat and clean too - perhaps she'd like to come clean mine next? LOL
I am really blown away by the vintage mystique of the background of the card! The horse shoe, twine, and the stampede structure really pop! Great job!
