Hi peeps! Just a quick post today; I felt I needed to veer away from the fall/Halloween stamping for a wee bit; I saw this piece of DSP sticking out from my folder and thought how perfect it would be for the Match The Sketch challenge this week! Here’s my card:
And here’s the sketch:
Pretty straightforward—the DSPs are from English Garden and Bohemian; sentiment is from Cottage Greetings, stamped in Early Espresso; and the flowers were created by adhering some Adhesive Sheet (retired) on the back of SU’s burlap ribbon, then die-cutting three flowers from the Flower Fair framelits. The Adhesive Sheet gives the burlap some structure as well as adhesive and allows them to be stuck down easily! I finished off with some Candy Dots and linen thread!
Be sure to come back tomorrow for our latest Paper Players challenge! You won’t want to miss it! And here’s what happens when a 5-year-old plays with her little knitted bunny and your ceramic pumpkin:
Reminds me of something ala Beatrix Potter! Enjoy your day!
