Happy Sunday, peeps! I am the hostess at the Paper Players this week and we have a "thankful" theme:
I pulled out a really old set called Gift Givers, because I just love this little turkey:
I stamped the image in Pecan Pie and used some Blends to color him in, then punched him out with a matching punch. I added frames of leaves and acorns from the retired Thankful Forest Friends and diecut a few leaves to tuck in around the sides. It all went on some plaid paper that was gifted to me by a friend:
I added another strip of the paper on the inside, a leftover leaf, and a sentiment from Honey Bee:
I hope you can find someone to be thankful for this week and play in our challenge! Be sure to enter it at the Paper Players blog and while you're there, check out what the DT created as well! Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

What a sweet card, LeAnne! Your little gobbler is adorable and you used one of my all-time favorite stamp sets for the background--Thankful Forest Friends! Love the plaid paper and how you decorated the inside of the card too, I rarely think to do that. Thanks for a super fun theme this week!
I like the way you've framed that little gobbler and that plaid paper is marvelous! Cute card, LeAnne!
Oh I love that plaid! Such a pretty card!
I'm MAD for your plaid - and that darling lil' turkey, too! I'm thankful for you, LeAnne!

What a cute card!!! And, I have this stamp & punch... so, I may be casing you & doing Thanksgiving cards this year! I just have to find something similar to your leafy frame & a cute plaid paper. Thanks so much for the inspiration! Huggs from sunny but chilly Florida!
There's something about that plaid paper that is just so warm and inviting! Your frame around the bird is superb. Thank you for your interesting challenge this week. :-)
