PP748 Fresh & Fruity

Happy Sunday, peeps! Claire is our Paper Players hostess and she has a fun CLEAN-AND-SIMPLE challenge for us this week! I love it:

I realized I don't have many "fruity" stamps, but I went waaay back into my archive of older stamps and not only did I find a fruity stamp, I found paper to match!  Here we go:

This little Papertrey stamp has been around for a long time, but it's so darn cute, I can't part with it! I stamped it in Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green, then added the stem and sentiment in Early Espresso!  And check out that diecut mat....remember Kiwi Kiss?  Yep, another oldie!  My simple embellishment was some embroidery floss from my stash!  The apple paper is also from PTI, although the green scalloped paper is a mystery, LOL:

And how about this punny sentiment for the inside?!

I used the sketch from FMS, which is one of my favorites:

I sure hope you'll play along with our challenge this week!  Be sure to keep it CLEAN and SIMPLE, though---a minimum of layers and embellishments is what we want to see! Check out all the DT samples at the Paper Players blog, then share yours with us too!  Thanks for visiting today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!

Not only do I love your 'oldie but goodie' apple and paper, you've sparked an idea to play along, LeAnne! [Such a fun use of Karren's FMS sketch, too!]

The apple is fantastic, as is the cute sentiment along with the matching patterned paper. I love a punny sentiment so the inside one made me smile. I remember Kiwi Kiss, it was always a fav. Great card with all the "archive" elements, LeAnne!

LeAnne this is the sweetest card. I love the little apple and the adorable matching paper. The fabulous circle die cut in green adds just the right pop to your red apple. The little bow is adorable!! Thank you for making my challenge shine this week!

Adorable, LeAnne! I love the country vibe. This image and paper are so sweet...and so is the sentiment. The embroidery floss bow looks great with the Kiwi Kiss mat. I can see why you have kept this stamp through the years. LOVE it!

Oh I do love a good apple card! This paper reminds me of one SU had before I became a demo many moons ago! I love it!

LeAnne, I love how you used the apple paper for the top of the card and that die for the circular element is fabulous. A wonderful CAS card.
