Happy Friday, peeps! Happy weekend! The sketch challenge at In(k)spire Me is a lovely one:
This is my favorite pattern from the Beautiful Gallery DSP, made even better because the flip side is that pretty Cloud Cover! I used another favorite, the Layers of Beauty bundle! Here we go:
The rose was stamped in Smoky Slate, then sponged with the stencil in Timid Tiger and Cloud Cover. I added some Cloud Cover ribbon and a few stitched lines, then a sentiment from Simply Said:
To give the rose a distressed look, I overstamped it with the retired Sanded background stamp in Basic Beige. The inside was left blank until I need it for a certain occasion!
Thanks so much for popping in! Enjoy it and be blessed!

Oh, my goodness that paper is gorgeous! I love your over-stamping, LeAnne - that little bit of distressing made that rose match your paper so well!

This is beautiful, LeAnne! I love that your pretty flowers match your paper and the stitching is perfect! Lovely card, as always! Happy Friday....enjoy the sunshine today! :)
Such a pretty card. I love this sketch.
I must remember how good that rose looks with that paper LeAnne - it's such a good pairing, especially since I have the paper but nothing else in the suite!
Gorgeous pairing! Layers of Beauty has not seen ink in my stamp room in months....your card is inspiration for me to get it out again!! Thanks for sharing!!
Oooohhh, what pretty paper! Love every element, LeAnne. It all flows together perfectly!
So very pretty! I think this DSP is my favourite from this pack of paper. I'd like at least twice as much in the packet!
