Happy Friday, everyone! Hope you have something fun planned for the weekend! It's time for a new As You See It challenge, and our theme this week is spots or stripes!
I just got the new set called Encircled With Love, so it seemed perfect for the challenge! I added spots and stripes to my card:
I chose to keep my card monochromatic to keep it simple, using Lost Lagoon ink, but I did kick it up a notch by adding a few more subtle spots with a polka dot embossing folder, then added a sentiment from Everyday Arches. I love how the fonts seem to coordinate! My final embellishment was some Lost Lagoon Soft Cord:
I also used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:
I love spots, and I love stripes, and I love them together! I hope you'll play with our challenge this week...you can use either or both! Check out what the DT created too...some fun creations over at the AYSI blog! Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

What a great monochromatic card! I love the mix of spots and stripes. Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches this week.
Hey, there are spots and stripes all over blogland right now!! I love how you've combined them, LeAnne, used this lovely color AND our FMS Sketch, too - all tied together with that pretty little satin string!

The perfect mix of polka dots and stripes! This is fun, LeAnne!
Love the Lagoon and white - sweet card!
Love the mix of dots and stripes - it so beautifully frames the thank you. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
What a lovely monochramatic card. The subtle patterning of the spots AND stripes, along with that lovely layering make for a really interesting card.
Oh I love the monochrome design LeAnne and what a great way to feature this new stamp too. The mix of spots and stripes here is just lovely and I like that they are not only in the DSP, but the embossed layer too. And the twine addition is the perfect finishing touch!
such a great combination of the two aspects of our theme LeAnne - spots and stripes are perfect partners on this fab card!
