Happy Friday, everyone! The weekend is ahead, and it's a busy one for us, so I'll make this quick! The Retro Rubber challenge is to make a fall card and since October is Pastor Appreciation month, AND it's almost over, I thought I'd better get to creating something for our pastor!
My pastor likes things PLAIN!! Which is a challenge when you're a card-maker, as we want to add all kinds of doodads on our cards! So this card is kind of plain but I did add some colors and patterns that kept to a fall theme:
I used the retired Stitched Leaves dies to cut out this pretty leaf; my papers are from Simple Stories and Authentique. The sentiment is from Banner Year from 2020. I used oval punches to punch it out, and I added another wee little maple heart from Itty Bitties, which I've had since 2013! I actually made another card before this one, changing the orientation of the leaf and adding a woven linen knot, but it didn't look quite right, so I made another one! What do you think?
The inside sentiment is from Little Delights, from 2021. I love the font in this one!
Thanks for popping in today! Gotta go make a pumpkin roll! Enjoy the day and be blessed!

Super cool card, LeAnne! Love how you kept it simple and used the papers to your advantage! Great choice of patterned papers which adds some zing to the card while keeping it simple! Love it!
LeAnne, they are both wonderful and sure to be appreciated!

Whatever the orientation, you can't go wrong with a cute polka dot leaf! These are terrific, LeAnne!
Oh I love the textured on your sweater-y card! So pretty!
