Framed Joyful Images

Happy Monday, peeps! I was experimenting with the frame die that comes with the Gone Fishing dies; I thought it might make a good frame for some postage-stamp-style images, but even before I started thinking about what stamps to use, I realized that some of the images from the Joyful Images Ephemera Pack would be really easy to plop in there!  So here we go:

I cut a frame from Garden Green cardstock and trimmed off the little tabs that are on the side, then adhered it to a Basic White card.  I adhered images from the Ephemera pack around the frame, and die cut one more inner piece from a scrap of white on which to stamp the sentiment from Peaceful Season.  I added the remainder of the sentiment, "a season of wonder and happiness" on the inside.

So then, I had five diecut pieces from the inside of the frame, and I thought I could use them for another card:

I sponged some ink around the edges to give them a little depth, added some glimmer ribbon and bows and a sentiment from More Wishes.  A couple of red and green sequins finished it off!  Easy peasy!

Our church had its annual Harvest Party, and the weather was perfect!  We had a bonfire, roasted hot dogs, went on a hayride and made freshly-pressed apple cider!  Dana and the family couldn't make it this year, but I did see these little punkins:

Maven and her cousin Piper!

Sawyer helping feed the apples into the apple press!  Just look at all those apples below!

A hayride is more fun in the dark!

Thanks for visiting today, enjoy it and be blessed!

Great cards, LeAnne! I really love how you used the die from the Gone Fishing set and how you decorated it! Easy peasy for sure! And then a quick card made from the negative parts! So cool and brilliant, too! Saturday was the perfect day for your Harvest Party! It was definitely feeling like Fall. Looks like everyone had a fun time! :)

I love the way you used the frame on the first one and using the inset pieces as presents for a second card is a genius idea!
