Merry Monday 129

DSCF5515

Happy Monday, everyone!  Kristie’s got a cool challenge for Merry Monday today; it was definitely a challenge for me:

Aren’t those fun ornaments?  Now, I love bright colors, but rarely would choose them to make a Christmas card!  So I took a big gulp and went searching for some DSP that was tickling my memory!  I found it….it’s by Recollections, called City Sidewalks, and I put it to work:

How’s that for some neon colors?  I used a piece from the reverse side of the main image to make a big banner, and snipped a couple scraps of Green Galore and Pink Passion to make my banners!  I added a little piercing and stamped some tiny white snowflakes for some extra interest:

I stamped a sentiment from Amy R Stamps and added some beautiful sequins from my friend Sylvia (she has an etsy store!):

I have to admit, this was an easy card to create and I love it!  I hope you’ll take on the challenge this week and share your neon-hued card with us as well!  And be sure to check out all the designers’ samples as well!

I caught Cassidy reading to Grampy while sitting on the porch (the photo was taken through our screen door, hence the grid!!!):

Enjoy your day!
