Happy Sunday, peeps! Hope you are having a great weekend and had someo time to stamp yesterday for World Cardmaking Day! Jaydee has a wonderful seasonal challenge for us today:
That should be an easy one, right? I have TONS of Halloween stamps, so I love getting them all out and mixing them up! Here is my card for the challenge:
This card is a wee bit taller than a normal card, and involves lots of paper piecing! The banners and spider were already printed on the DSP from My Mind’s Eye (Happy Haunting) and the main images and sentiment are from Recollections, and pieced with the same line of papers. The stars and bats are from SU and Crafty Secrets! I gave a lot of stamps some love here! The fence was punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I added some shading with markers on some of the images…don’t you just love that little sweet face?!
The inside, which is a Basic Gray base, was stamped with the current Paper Pumpkin Halloween set:
Can’t wait to see what ooky spooky creation you come up with! Check out the cool samples from the other designers:
Speaking of Halloween, Dana & Cassidy did some cookie decorating last week:
Of course, the cookies had to be taste-tested!
And Cassidy’s apron used to be Mommy’s apron from 4H…..she had painted on the names of all her cousins, and Cassidy loves wearing it! Thanks for visiting today!
Cute card. Love the paper-piecing.
