Happy Tuesday, peeps! October is Breast Cancer Month, and Arielle has a beautiful challenge for us today:
I went with a simple design this week; my sketch is from Match The Sketch, squeaking it in just under the wire!
And here’s my card:
My base is Pretty in Pink; the black cardstock is embossed with an old Cuttlebug EF and the pink DP is from Graphic 45, Botanical Tea. The ribbon image is a retired SU set with a My Favorite Thing sentiment from Essential Sentiments. I added a silver glimmer scalloped mat and I added a little retired SU charm, adding to the “silver” portion of the challenge, LOL!
I know that there isn’t a one of us who doesn’t have a friend or family member affected by breast cancer. I hope you’ll play along with us and honor one of those with this challenge!!! Be sure to share it with us at the ColourQ as well!
A little nature walk with Grampy:
Enjoy your day! (The cast comes off on Wednesday!!!)
Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteWe are taking lots of nature hikes too. They are keeping me too busy to post. LOL
Love the sparkly scallop behind your awareness ribbon and that sweet little charm! Pretty card LeAnne. I like the way Cassidy seems to have held the pine cone by the stem for her entire walk..so cute!! The last photo of her is just adorable :)
