TTTC166 Masculine Give it a Whirl

Happy Thursday, everyone! Time for Team X to share their Tic Tac Toe challenge!  Here's our grid for this week:

I went with the top row across of Masculine, Die Cut and Brads!  I am still working with my Give it a Whirl dies, and pulled out some elements from the He's The Man suite!  So here we go:

I stamped some of the sentiments from He's All That, along with one from Charmed Sentiments, on the wheel to show through the window:

And then added some of the punch outs from the He's the Man DSP, along with some stars and a brad to fasten the mechanism.  It all went on a Basic Black mat which went on a Mango Melody card base.  Another sentiment from Charmed Sentiments went on th einside:

I will probably save this for John's birthday in November!!  Or maybe I'll make a different one and give it to him for Father's Day!  I hope you'll find some inspiration from our grid this week too!  Share it with us at the Tic Tac Toe blog! See you there!

Dana and Wayne have been getting their pool ready for the summer and of course, a few critters made it into the skimmer!  Anyone know what kind of toad or frog this is?  I can't seem to find him listed anywhere in the list of Pennsylvania amphibians!  He's bright green!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

  1. LOVE this card, LeAnne! I have the Give It A Whirl dies and haven't used them yet. I was influenced by Kathy and a shoebox swap she did with us at our last Stamping Retreat at the Tea Kettle Inn. I will definitely be getting them out to make a Father's Day card this weekend! Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. Could that be a juvenile Gray Tree Frog? They are bright green, but I don’t know if they can be found in Pennsylvania. https://www.paherps.com/herps/frogs-toads/gray_treefrog/

  8. This card is so cool, LeAnne! I recently got the Give It A Whirl Dies so I need to try this! Love the papers and all the sayings you used! I love it! I have no idea on the frog but remember when we had our pool we always had frogs and ducks going for a dip!
