Yay, happy Friday, peeps! Time for a new As You See It challenge...the exciting SPEED stamping challenge! I almost missed that part, hah!
Luckily, I had already chosen a fairly simple design since my stamping time this summer is bit more limited! I couldn't find many belated birthday stamps in my vast stash, but I did find this funny one in Birthday Wit, and I had a scrap of this cute woodland critters DSP hanging out on my desk, so here we go:
I stamped the sentiment and the bear from Thankful Forest Friends both on Very Vanilla cardstock in Early Espresso ink, then quickly fussy cut them out. When I layered them on the card front, it looked a little sparse, so I cut out some wood circles from the opposite side of the DSP and quickly tucked them around the sentiment. I barely made it at 9 minutes and 46 seconds!
I do think this bear is rather cute, though, even if his ears and paws are a challenge to cut around!
Hope you'll play along with our SPEED STAMPING challenge this week....remember, gather your supplies, get your design planned out in your head and GO! See what you can create in ten minutes! You'll be surprised at what you can create! Then share it with us at As You See It!
Cassidy has been battling a terrible summer cold, poor thing! She felt well enough to throw the frisbee around with Grampy one afternoon:
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Very cute card, LeAnne! Love the paper and your sweet fussy cut bear! You picked the perfect sentiment for a belated birthday! Well done! :) Our weather has been up & down since the beginning of May so it's no wonder people are dealing with colds. Hope Miss Cassidy feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteDarling way to make someone smile even when they know you've forgotten that birthday - if this sentiment is true, please forget me for the next ten years, okay? lol
ReplyDelete=]
So fun, LeAnne! Love that bear - he looks perfect over that awesome paper! I love the manly look, too!
ReplyDeleteA sweet bear and a fun sentiment! A great way to make up for a late birthday wish. BTW, you can forget my birthday this year, LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is CUTE and I like the sentiment! Sure hope Cassidy feels better soon ;)
ReplyDeleteClever to let the DSP do all the hard work and that sentiment couldn't be more perfect!
ReplyDeleteThat sentiment cracks me up - and the DSP and beat coordinate beautifully!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! The papers are delightful and pull everything together so well! You "bearly" had anytime left! Sorry I had too!
