Hi peeps! A quick post today as I have my favorite stampers coming over today! I needed a baby girl congratulations card and rather than do the traditional pastel pink, I chose to use some of the new SAB Paper Blooms DSP along with the sketch from In(k)spire Me:
I chose to only use the sketch...and here we go:
The front of the card is slightly smaller than a normal card, and that allowed me to adhere a little piece of contrasting DSP to the inside so that it would show along the edge.
The florals are from Lovely You, stamped in Rococo Rose and Night of Navy; the ribbon is NON gingham:
The outside sentiment is from Here's a Card, and the inside sentiment is from the retired God's Blessings! Thanks for popping in today...if you have questions, shoot me an email! Gotta go stamp!
Lovely card LeAnne :-) have fun stampin' ~ I haven't had ANYONE in for classes or stampin' in 6 months (insert tears here) ... we are in code red here and lock down! have a super time xo
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, I do LOVE pink and navy, LeAnne! Such a lovely way to welcome a little one into the world!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time today... but be safe, please!

Oh my, that gingham ribbon was the perfect accent to your lovley card!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet - love the colour combo and such a sweet sentiment too. Hope you had fun stamping - I have almost forgotten what F2F stamping with others is like!!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, Your card is beautiful. I especially love how you cut the card front to expose more of the DSP. Great layout and your design from it is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI do love those bolder colors that you've used on this baby card. Great thought to add that extra layer on the inside.
