Happy Friday, everyone! As You See It has a nice sketch today, and I whipped together a real fast card with it! Here you go:
This is like my favorite sketch turned upside down! I recently got Wildly Happy, but hadn't inked it up yet, so I thought it would fun to use it to make a baby boy card. I don't like to put a lot of frills and embellishments on boy cards, so it worked out perfectly! I matched up some retired and new DSPs and went to work:
I stamped the bunnies in Balmy Blue, diecut them with a Stitched Shapes circle, then added a little shading with a Smoky Slate blend as well as a little punched heart:
I stamped the sentiment in Gray Granite, and added a diecut border to delineate between the two DSPs:
and stamped a sentiment on the inside as well:
So sweet! I hope you'll play along with us and use our fabulous sketch! I am sure I'll be using this one a lot!! Thanks for popping in today!
So one part of the Turkey Hill Experience is to create your own ice cream flavor! You're taken into a big, cold room (so your ice cream doesn't melt), given a huge bowl of either vanilla or chocolate ice cream, and then you have several ways to flavor and embellish it....there are about 15 different extracts (like lemon, coffee, mint, raspberry, etc), then add-ins like nuts, chocolate chips, graham crackers, and lots of others, and then finally, the "varigate", which could be caramel, butterscotch, fudge, strawberry....lots of syrupy things to add additional flavor! It was mind-boggling as well as taste boggling!
Here you can see all the extracts lined up, the varigates behind them, and on the far wall, all the goodies to add to the mix! YUM!
Lee made his lemon with mint chocolate chips (he didn't finish it, LOL!), Cassidy chose chocolate with coffee extract and chocolate sprinkles (no wonder she was bouncing off the walls!), and John chose maple with walnuts and peanut butter! Mine was orange with craisins and strawberry puree! I ate the entire thing and had a bit of a tummy-ache afterwards....it was a BIG dish, LOL!
And this about says it all:
Enjoy your day and be blessed!
