Happy Wednesday, peeps! I had a lot of fun making today's card; I got to use some PUMPKINS, woohoo! The Global Design Project challenge this week is to CASE the designer, and here's our inspiration:
And here we go:
I began with some embossing paste, dyed with Old Olive ink, and stencilled a background with one of the Pattern Party masks. I then stamped and diecut images from last year's Pick a Pumpkin set; such a cute set and barely enough time to use it! I added some color to the sprigs with Blends, and finished it with a sentiment Right At Home's Grateful Heart:
This reflects how happy I am that our weather has finally gotten a little more seasonal! Bring on fall! Thanks for popping in for a visit today!
Since I can't seem to get a picture of Cassidy lately, I'll share her school picture:
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Cassidy is such a beautiful child and that's a great school pic. I still haven't opened my embossing paste nor used my stencils. Why do I order stuff I don't use? That's rhetorical, of course, and I know you know the answer...lol. Perhaps you have given me incentive to do it...lovely card and good luck at GDP.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Autumn card LeAnne, love the adorable pumpkins and that fantastic background.
ReplyDeleteBut, what I love even more is the picture of Cassidy, oh my goodness!!! how she's grown!!
Thank you for sharing these pictures of her with us, perfectly appropriate for the RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE.
XO
Super cute card! Love those pumpkins and your use of embossing paste!
ReplyDeleteBring on Fall!!! I am so ready and happy that we finally get some sunshine! This card is beautiful, LeAnne! Love the background especially in that color! The Pick A Pumpkin set was so popular last year and it's a shame that some of these stamp sets don't stick around longer. I loved this one too! Thanks for the reminder of pulling it out and using it! I love how you arranged your pumpkins on the card! So pretty and just a bit a Fall! Super cute school picture of Miss Cassidy! Golly, she's growing like a weed!
ReplyDeleteReally nice LeAnne ..very crisp and clean. Darling pic of Cassidy...she is really changing...looking older. Is she as sweet as she looks. I know she is from all that I see of her pics. And her around around new precher’s daughter at church was adorable...you have a good one there. You are such a big part of her life and do so many wonderful things with her. They will forever be in her memory book of life
ReplyDeleteCassidy is simply a beautiful girl. Thanks for sharing.
