Paper Players 375 Friends Furever

Happy Sunday, peeps!  After a refreshing break, the Paper Players are back!!  Sandy is our hostess today with a Punny Valentine theme:

I do have a punny Valentine set but I wanted to challenge myself to use a non-Valentine stamp set, so I pulled out Bella and Friends for my card today:

I stamped Bella and her little turtle friend in Basic Black ink and did some watercoloring with reinkers.  I used Crumb Cake, Emerald Envy and Lemon Lime Twist for my colors, and the Labeler Alphabet comes in handy for making up your own punny sentiments like this one!  I used some Eastern Palace and Naturally Eclectic DSPs for my background.

My sketch is from Hand-Stamped Sentiments:

We would be so excited if you participated with our challenge this week...a fun one to start off 2018!  Be sure to share your creations with us at the Paper Players blog, and be sure to check out the submissions of our DT, including our new guest designer, Elizabeth Stewart!

At seven, Cassidy still loves to play with her baby dolls....one she got for Christmas actually crawls and talks (in a kind of creepy voice, but I didn't tell her that)!  Here, she is lining up all the accessories she got and naming them for me one by one!

Enjoy your day, stay warm if it's cold where you are and thanks for popping in!  Be blessed!

  6. Lovely image, beautifully coloured. You are just so good at mixing papers and textures so that they add do, rather than detract from, the main image. Another great card!

  9. Oh how cute is this! I like the colors you chose and the little pop of red. Awesome coloring on little Bella too! I love that Cassidy plays with dolls. I hope she does for a couple of more years. Kids are growing up way too fast these days and more into electronics that using their imagination.
