AYSI162 Birthday Sketch x Two

Happy Friday, peeps!  It's time for another As You See It challenge and this week, it's a sketch:

No automatic alt text available.

Oh, how I love things in threes!  I liked this sketch so much, I made two cards!  They both use Tranquil Tide cardstock, ink and papers!  I used Fresh Florals DSP for both, and on the first one, I fussy-cut one of the floral images for my lower panel:

I added some embossing on the three horizontal panels; a sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet, and it's hard to see, but a little silver thread:

Since I already had Beautiful Bouquet out on my desk, I used some of the greenery from that set for my second card, and added Crumb Cake accents, a Tranquil Tide ribbon, and a little linen thread bow.  Sentiment is from Wood Words:

And on the inside, the same birthday sentiment with some extra little flowers!

I can't wait to see what you create with this sketch!  Be sure to play along and share it with us at As You See It!  You have two weeks to play!

I don't have any pictures of Cassidy to share today, but I came across these hay bales in a neighboring field, and since I have seen a lot of black and white photos on FB recently, I did a little photo-editing and created this:

I've not even seen hay bales stacked like this....but it's so neat!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

  2. Great Picture - who's farm is it. We did not stack hay that way. Must be a modern day stack.

  4. Lovely cards. The embossed panels are perfect behind the lovely flowers on the first card.

  5. I love both your monochromatic cards; the shade of teal is so lovely. But that photo... really love it! Did you take it? You are right, those bales of hay are stacked so perfectly. That sentiment was perfect, our politicians could take some lessons from you, LeAnne :)

  6. Two beautiful cards, LeAnne! I wouldn't be able to choose my favorite, if I had to because they are both so pretty.
