Happy Friday, peeps! As I am sitting here posting this, there are little tiny white flakes fluttering outside...I know there are some areas that are getting buried in snow, but we haven't had a thing! Anyway, we are having DH's family Christmas tomorrow, along with two birthdays, so here is another birthday card; this one uses the Can You Case It sketch...I haven't played with them for a while!
I thought this was going to be a simple card, but I kept adding stuff to it! I chose yellow and gray as my color palette...here we go:
I used Perfectly Wrapped and Jar of Love for my stamping, along with several stitched and scalloped dies:
I love the little row of hearts in the Everyday Jars framelits set:
I sprinkled the cutouts inside and out!

A few more pix of Cassidy opening her Advent calendar! One day she got gold, silver and bronze Sharpies! Woohoo, Grammy might have to borrow these!
The only disadvantage to opening the calendar first thing in the morning is that she wants to try everything out right away and we can't get her to eat breakfast!!!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!
Love the fun and happy design of this card LeAnne!! :) I especially love the colors and how all of the elements work together here!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you did your project details...easy on the eyes and brain! I have those Sharpies. If Cassidy is smart, she will hide hers and buy some for you for your birthday or New Year's...whichever comes sooner...lol. Happy New Year to you and yours. Have fun with the birthdays. (I need to get this set out as I forgot all about the hearts.) TFS
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful birthday card. I love the grey and yellow combo as well as all the hearts scattered inside and out. All these diecuts work so well together too.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the creations Cassidy comes up with using those special markers:)
Have a fun day tomorrow and a very happy new year.
I absolutely love all the wonderful details on this! Again, a card I am going to have to CASE and maybe play with colors on! We have had that issue with our littles once in a while as well - they get so distracted playing and making that they don't want to take time out for anything else. Gotta love it though. ~chris
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card, LeAnne! The colors are so pretty and I love the mix of flowers and hearts! Cassidy is adorable in her minion outfit and well...I love those marker colors too! I missed the snow flurries today but it got awfully cold out! Shawn was admitted to the York Hospital yesterday. He was having stomach pain...turned out he was diagnosed with diverticulitis! I'm worried sick about him....
ReplyDeleteI like the cluster of prettiness on this sweet card LeAnne!! Nifty markers Cassidy got, might have to get myself some of those! Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne your card is gorgeous! Love the layout and the colors. And when did you do the new blog header? Love that, too! Did you do it yourself? I'm awful when it comes to those things! A happy and healthy New Year to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteSweet card....so pretty in yellow and gray! Happy 2017!
