Happy Friday, peeps! Hope you have a great weekend planned! I am trying to get some things done for an upcoming craft show, so the housework will have to wait, LOL!
I love the sketch that Linda created for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week:
I used some paper from the A Little Foxy 6x6 pad and pulled out Jar of Love for the focal point. I have to tell you, if you've not used SU's thick cardstock, you need to try it! Stamping on it is a dream, but when you die-cut the pieces, they are nice and sturdy and almost feel like chipboard! It makes such a difference!
I stamped the flowers in Crushed Curry and Delightful Dijon inks:
The jar, "thanks" and stems are Smoky Slate, and I stamped the water very lightly with Soft Sky:
I added some thick baker's twine and silver sequins to finish it off! And it's in the mail to a new customer!
Cassidy did not want me to take her picture while we were making her Halloween favors for school (that Paper Pumpkin kit is perfect!) but she did let me take a picture of her cute shirt which featured pastel parrots, before she burst into a fit of giggles! Maybe when we finish the favors I can sneak in a picture!!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

This little jar of flowers is fantastic. I love the colors so much too. And seriously, what did we do before thick WW???? Glad you found time to play along this week at FMS (and always before house work!!).
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty jar of flowers! I love yellows and grays together. I love Cassidy's shirt, too!
ReplyDeleteThis card is beautiful, LeAnne! The more I see from this set the more I want it! LOL I have been resisting this one as well. Really loved that there is coordinating sets for Halloween & Christmas too but I am still resisting! It's getting quite tough! Love those pretty flowers and the simplicity of your great card! Loved the Cassidy pictures today! They made me giggle too! TFS and have a happy Friday! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, this is PRETTY!! Love your little jar full of sunny yellow blooms. Cassidy looks ornery here!!
ReplyDeleteCute jar of flowers! And such a cute shirt too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card LeAnne! I love that little jar full of flowers! Grey and yellow are two of my favourite colours!! Thanks for the tip on using the thick white cardstock for die-cuts. I need to try that! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
