Happy Saturday, peeps! We are still in the throes of weird spring weather....not happy with rain and snow, let me tell ya! Here's another simple card to help remind me that it won't last forever:
This is an almost exact CASE of Michele Ferguson's card, who is the Muse for this week's Muse challenge. Michele is such a talented stamper...every time I see one of her cards, she "wows" me with me her simple but beautiful creativity! For my card, I used a scrap of butterfly paper, a butterfly thinlet that I layered on two layers of Watermelon Wonder cardstock:
and a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in Stazon on washi tape:
I know my pinks don't match, but I love them together anyway!
Be sure to come back tomorrow for our latest Paper Players challenge!
Cassidy was in a baking (pretend) mood....she got out her playdoh, rolling pin, muffin cups and spatula and went to work:
She ended up with cake and cupcakes:
Enjoy your day!
Such a pretty card LeAnne - I like the contrast of the washi tape and how the paper does the hard work here. Bravo to Cassidy - I'd eat outdoors all year round if I could too; lets bring on some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteGREAT card and priceless moment of Cassidy's...
ReplyDeleteI think your butterflies bring the pinks together. Love this punch of color against the white space. Wonderfully done. And what a little pretend baker you have there! Love her determination
ReplyDeleteBeautiful butterflies sure say spring to me! Let's hope we've seen the last of the snow!
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty dp you've used for this card, LeAnne! So glad you joined us at Muse this week!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne I adore that butterfly patterned paper - I think I may have hoarded one last sheet!! You can't know how badly I wanted to detour to you this week ... thank you SO much for playing cards with us at Muse, and for always putting a smile on my face with your darling granddaughter! xx I sure hope I'm hope to play at Paper Players!

Hi LeAnn! Oh my Cassidy has grown! I love her cupcake meal! Love your card and I too love the mix of patterned paper and I think they match very well ,the butterfly has stripes!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun mix of patterns! Love the polka dot butterfly, this is darling Leanne! That's a yummy little snack Cassidy created!
ReplyDeleteI love the polka dot butterfly! So cute on the fun butterfly paper.
ReplyDeleteI think we all want spring, but I'm not sure I want to have a picnic outside yet! LOL The dolls don't look cold anyway!
This is such a pretty case, and a perfect CASE of the sketch challenge. It's got my vote! My Granddaughter (who is 4) is also into making "food" for us grown ups, and yes, the menu seems to have a lot of PlayDoh on it! :-) Adorable!
