RS205 and CCC14 Soft Christmas

Yay, it's Friday, so glad to see the weekend! I have been neglecting my Christmas cards, and I tell ya, it's tough to make a Christmas card in March when the temperatures are in the 80s!  Crazy!  But I persevered and came up with this little beauty, using papers from Kaisercraft's Silver Bells...aren't they pretty?

I used the sketch from Retrosketches and the color palette from Christmas Card Challenges:

My colors aren't exactly the same, but I hope they won't kick me out!!!  Here is a closeup; the tag is part of the 6x6 pad as well, and I used some SU ribbon and cord, along with Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper to cut the snowflake (Taylored Expressions) and Silver foil paper to cut the stars (Verve).  The sentiment is an older Flourishes:

And on the inside, a leftover star and a sentiment from Papertrey's Joyful Christmas, stamped in Regal Rose:

And switching holidays, Cassidy is decorating the little Easter tree my mom used to have:

Enjoy your day and your weekend!

  5. Your card is so pretty LeAnne, I just love those papers and the way you used the tag as the sentiment element. I really like this sketch and think it's one I'll use again, so might have to pinch this idea too! Xx
