Happy Saturday, peeps! Match the Sketch has a nice sketch this week, giving me a chance to use some of the beautiful English Garden DSP! Here’s the sketch:
And here’s my card:
I love these colors and images! There is very little stamping on this card, just the sentiment from Endless Thanks stamped in Tip Top Taupe and Sahara Sand, as well as a few little sprinkles. I did add a little bow of embroidery floss and some burlap trim to give it an “organic” feel!
Thanks for popping in today! Be sure to stop back tomorrow for my Paper Players card, too!
A push broom and a bucket of water, and Cassidy made the driveway her tablet and pencil! First I did her name:
Then she told me she wanted to do my name…I told her she could just do my nickname and gave her the letters:
She did end up doing her own name later with Dana’s help! She did real well, too!
Beautiful beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteThat Cassidy is just the cutest girl.
Have a good weekend.
Oh Lee Ann, I love to see little kids letting their imaginations run having so much fun. This pictures of Cassidy says that there is NO NEED for expensive toys and gadgets, just give them paper, pencils, scissors or, in this case, a broom and a bucket with water and they can make their own fun, I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd your card is lovely, I love this paper, this flowers look like they were actually water colored, the texture and papers look beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Oh, thanks, Frenchie! Yes, the flower is from the DSP...the only stamping is the words!
DeleteLovely card today LeAnne, I like the blues! Cute idea with the push broom!!
ReplyDeleteLove this card. What blue is that?
ReplyDeleteAnita, it is cut from DSP; not sure which blue they were trying to match! There's not any stamping except the sentiment.
DeleteDon't you love it when something so easy turns out this pretty? The touches of burlap and twine are so pretty with the blue! Cassidy can make good use of a broom and some water. I'll be that kept her busy for awhile!
ReplyDeleteSo the flower is from the DP? Wow that's gorgeous! Your are so clever!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun activity for Cassidy! I used to use a stick and a mud puddle..haha..
