Happy Saturday, peeps! Brrr, we are still freezin’ here in the NE section of the country! Good time to stay inside and stamp! I’ve been trying to make some samples and I was able to make a couple of cards using some fun sketches! My first one is from Match The Sketch:
and it uses Big Day (just love this fun set!) and Best Year Ever DSP, both Sale-a-bration items:
The images are stamped with Stazon then colored with markers! The ribbon is from the Best Year Ever Accessory Park…yummo!
My next one uses the Freshly Made Sketches sketch 168, and I totally missed the sentiment position; hope they don’t throw me out! Here’s the sketch:
And here’s my simple Valentine card:
I used some fun Valentine papers from the Stacked with Love pack; the large heart is from Epic Alphabet, the small heart is from You Brighten My Day (SAB also), and the sentiment is from Petite Pairs. Check out the little clear epoxy heart that fits right over the little heart…I just love it!
And here’s the inside; the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, and the little hearts are also from You Brighten My Day! This just makes me smile!
I am entering this one in the Color Throwdown challenge for this week too:
Be sure to come back tomorrow for our next Paper Players challenge!!
Just take a guess as to what she’s saying!
Super cute cards, LeAnne! I especially love the card you made for FMS - I think you nailed the sketch as the sentiment is perfect where it is. Stay warm today! I hope today is the day I can make it into the craft room as I haven't had any time over the past couple of weeks. :( I'm in serious withdrawal now!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Love Cassidy! She looks like she's saying no paparazzi!!
Double cuteness here today LeAnne! I like what you did with both sketches. I need to have a go at the FMS, I like it! Hmmm....let me see...I think Cassidy is saying "Hi out there to all of Grammys followers! I LOVE it when grammy takes my picture to share with all of you"!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards LeAnne! Love them both. Love your work.
ReplyDeleteCassidy is probably saying ... enough of the pictures Grandma. I remember that age well with my grandkids. And it only gets worse as they get older. Especially the boys, or they always want to stick out their tongue. Just enjoy them and I know you do.
Cute cards! As always!!!
ReplyDeleteI think Cassidy is saying "I don't want my picture taken!"
Hope you tell us all what she really said! hehehe
That is really sweet LeeAnne! Love the design of the card and the sweetness of your Grandaughter! Hazel x
ReplyDeleteNo photos today Grandma.
ReplyDeleteRene from OZ xx
Cassidy looks like she's saying, "I have an idea!"
ReplyDeleteGreat cards LeeAnne! I especially love your Valentine - I have been hoping to find time to play with this fabulous sketch!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
Great cards LeAnne! Love that Valentine! The white background is perfect! Love the red and black together! Such sweet hearts! Love Cssidy! I think she's saying "see you tomorrow blog lovers!"
ReplyDeleteI don't think my comment went through earlier today:(
ReplyDeleteCassidy is saying "Don't take my picture"
We're in the middle of a deep freeze here too. I wish I could just stay inside til it's over.
