Happy Thursday, peeps! I had a little bit of free time to stamp yesterday! The Stampin’ Royalty has a beautiful color challenge this week:
and Mary Jo’s Technostamper’s challenge is a fun sketch:
So here we go!
I combined several sets here, along with some embossing, punching and bows!! Here’s a closeup:
I’ll list the ingredients at the end. And here’s a laugh: I assembled the entire thing and realized I had it upside down!! You’ve never done that, right?! A little snip and remount, and it’s all better! Thanks for visiting today! It’s off! The cast got a little buzz with the saw:
Ooops! A little slip by the nurse; she was more frightened than anything, as the saw doesn’t cut the skin:
Prying it off:
She said “My arm is cold!!” (Plus this is a fake pout, LOL)
A little cajoling by the surgeon and out popped a smile!
Now, she needs a good, long, hot BATH! Thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts, prayers and well-wishes while her arm healed!!!Project Details | |

ReplyDeleteWoohoo........so glad Cassidy got her cast off. It looked a little frightening there for a while, but so happy to see that smile back;)
ReplyDeleteHaha, an upside down card....who hasn't done that at one time or another??;) Pretty card LeAnne. I'm not convinced about liking Blackberry Bliss yet, but you sure make it look good here.
Been there, done that-putting the card together upside down. This is such a great combination of sets and supplies! I really love it. And I love the pictures of the case coming off! She is so sweet! Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteLove the card! And you are the best Grandma ever to have all of these photos of Cassidy! These are priceless! Love the smile at the end! Glad she is rid of the cast!
ReplyDeleteWow these are pretty colors and you worked your magic with them as always!! Very pretty card LeAnne!! YAY no more cast, glad it's all over for her ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and happy she is all healed up!
ReplyDeleteOh happy day! That is scary when they bring out that saw.
ReplyDeleteAdorable card!
Beautiful card and colors.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of Cassidy, especially her fake pout. :) Glad the cast is off and I know she is glad.
Fabulous colours and card! Photos bring back memories of when my daughter broke her arm...the sawing off is indeed the scariest part of the whole thing. Saw slipped on her too and she talked about it for weeks LOL!
ReplyDeleteFantastic combination of challenges. I love how you used the colors!
ReplyDeleteMiss Cassidy is a trooper! I think the cast saw would be very intimidating. Glad she is all healed.
Yay! it's off!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card! Love how you used the sketch with those all the other elements. Thanks for joining us this week at TSSC.
