Happy Tuesday, peeps! As many of you might already know, I’ve decided to step down from the ColourQ! It has been a FUN ride with Arielle and all the other designers! I am grateful and honored that she asked me to part of her team! I checked back and my first post was on March 30, 2010, and here is the card I made:
So now, fast forward to 2014, and here is the challenge we’ve got today:
and here is my card:
This is one of my favorite layouts, and I’ve used the retired Spooky Bingo Bits for my images, along with some new sets for the backgrounds! I added a little doodad—glitter, sparkle, twine or sequin—to each one, then a trio of banners at the bottom:
And a fun sentiment on the inside:
I hope you’ll play along with us this week and squeeze in another few Halloween cards using these colors---or maybe you can come up with another theme! Can’t wait to see what you create!
Speaking of scary things, I stepped away from Cassidy for just a few minutes while she was painting and came back to this:
If any of you with children have never read “A Bad Case of Stripes”, you should read it! Cassidy told me she was Camilla Cream, the character in the book! Needless to say, a bath was next on the agenda! Enjoy your day!

ReplyDeleteCassidy looks very happy to be body painting. She looks like she just ran out of paper and what is a girl to do when she runs out of paper?
LOL
Thanks for sharing
LeAnne...Love your cards and enjoy the ongoing Grandma adventures!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to miss you on the DT LeAnne, but you know I'll continue to stalk you as always LOL!! Your first card is so cute with all those fluttery butterflies and the polka dot ribbon! And for today's card, I can see why this is a favorite layout, so cute!! This would work for so many images that I have, will have to remember this one. Ooooh boy is this what I have to look forward to!!??!! I better stock up on soap now LOL :)
ReplyDeleteLove this bright fun Halloween card! It's happy......like Miss C and her painting!
ReplyDeleteI love them both (but it is fun to see how things have changed, isn't it?) Looks like you need to fully focus on Cassidy!! But no matter what she's doing, I don't know how you can resist that impish smile!
