Happy Wednesday, everyone! Since I seemed to have misplaced my mojo lately, I tried a new challenge (for me) along with some new stamps. The challenge is called As You See It, and here is the inspiration photo they gave us:
The trick is to try to make a card in 10 minutes or less. I did not time myself, but I think I came pretty close! I pulled out a bunch of sets, some various green inks and just started stamping! Other than the sentiment, it’s all one layer:
I actually have a stamp of a line of pencils, but I really wanted to use my SU stuff; I am not sure if the green florals really work, but I warned you that my mojo was missing! Enjoy your day!
Some pool fun with new friends!

ReplyDeleteOh that pool looks so wonderful! Your little fish looks very comfortable in the water.
I think it is awesome just the sentiment says. Don't over think your choice of the green flower. The deep green adds depth. I think it is very nice.
ReplyDeleteI think the green works, it's fresh and summery!
ReplyDeleteJudging by this card, your mojo IS BACK!! It's fan-tab-u-lous! Really like the greens you used. Our darling Miss C looks like she's having fun - wish I could join her - we were 98 today - way too hot for me.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the card. That was the stamp set that was at the top of my list when the new catalog came out, and I have used it so much already. I just can't wait to try a collage like you did. I'm so excited.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a nice summer. Loved the photos of the flags in the garden the other day. I just bought 10 of the little flags for my granddaughter to decorate our campsites this weekend up at our trailer.
Wow, nice card. The greens and the different stamps are original! Like this idea!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the pictures of Cassidy, Like the flags in your flower garden and her pictures, she makes.
If that's what you do without mojo, then what's wrong with me?? :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely summery card. Makes me think of looking up through the leaves of several trees and seeing their different shades of green.
Very, very nice.
Oh boy, this is a fantastic card. I have no idea what you mean when you say your mojo has gone missing because I can see it's alive and well! What depth you have created with just the color green!
ReplyDeleteIf this is what your no mojo looks like, then look out world when you get it back!! I love your collage stamping and I think the florals work well! Thanks for rocking the challenge this week at As You See It Challenges.
ReplyDeleteI think this is pretty neat! I hadn't even paid any attention to this set but I went and took a look. Great stamping!
ReplyDeleteI love this card! I had a hard time with the challenge, but your card is AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteIf that is card with no Mojo I sure hope you play again and show us what you can come up with when you are "on your game". Congrats on getting Snaps! I just adore the collage look that you created. Thanks so much for trying us out at As You See It Challenge :)
