Happy Monday, peeps! Another sweet inspiration for the Merry Monday challenge today! Who doesn’t remember the excitement of seeing a full stocking on Christmas morning?! Let’s see how you can translate that into a card!
I made a vintage, shabby-chic card for my interpretation, using a Cornish Heritage Farm stamp and some shabby seam binding:
I did some collage-style stamping on my green polka-dotted piece, and added a sentiment from AmyR stamps. Now, you might be wondering where the stocking is….but it’s there…see it?
And just for fun, I cut a little stocking from some felt and added it to the inside as well:
Sweet! I hope to see your creation posted at the Merry Monday Christmas card challenge blog too! And be sure to pop over to see what the other designers came up with as well!
I don’t have a Cassidy picture for you today, but I do have a bird picture, so if you’re not a birdie, you can skip this. I am blessed to have my computer right in front of a window that looks on to my backyard, where all kinds of birds regularly come to our feeder and suet. But I was not prepared when my eye caught a very brilliant shade of red the other day! I grabbed my camera from next to my monitor and took these shots from inside the house, so they’re not very good:
It’s a pileated woodpecker; I have seen and heard them around our property, but never this close to the house! It was quite an event for me!!!
Have a blessed day!
Adorable card! You always know just the right touches to make the prettiest cards. I love the stamping on the DSP with the crinkled around the stamp! Love the woodpecker pictures. I saw one of those in our backyard while walking the dog. Of course, I didn't have a camera and I don't think my husband believes me. Lol

We have had lots of birds come to our feeders through the years...even woodpeckers, but I don't think we've ever seen a piliated woodpecker...neat pic...thanks for sharing.
