Happy Saturday, everyone! Wow, it is warming up a bit here in SE PA…what a nice change! I decided to make a happy, cheerful card using the Mojo Monday sketch:
and the beautiful Just Add Ink inspiration photo colors:
I made my card a wee bit skinnier than normal so that the big circular element could hang off the side:
I wish now I hadn’t been so lazy, and cut out another daisy, as it looks a little sparse, methinks! But I like how the Quatrefancy Specialty paper shows through, so I guess I’ll leave it that way for now! And everyone needs a reminder to:
Enjoy your day!
Learning how to hold your fingers to show that you’re THREE is hard to do!!!
FIVE is much easier!
Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new Paper Players challenge!
Your card is so cheery--we could use some sunny colors this winter!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is such a happy card LeAnne! I love the colors and your fun daisy which looks just fine!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog daily, but rarely comment. Cassidy is cute as a button and I know this time you spend with her is priceless. I keep my 3 youngest grandchildren and love having the time to influence them and mostly enjoy them. Tell Cassidy to let her thumb and pinkie "hold hands" for 3. Four is "no thumb". When my soon to be 6 yr. old granddaughter was 4, she literally told people she was "4, no thumb!" I loved it and it made people giggle. Wishing you joy!
ReplyDeleteso bright and citrusy!! cant wait for spring!
ReplyDeleteahh looks like everyone is on the same page as being ready for Spring. Me included and I liked your card on Facebook but when I saw the daisies it just brought a smile to my heart. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, LeAnne! Love the colors, smile element and your daisy! This nicer weather today is making me wish for spring. Love the bright sunshine and warmer temps! Enjoy your weekend & warmer weather!
ReplyDeleteAnother adorable card. It is snowing again and that sunny card is just what I needed to see today.
ReplyDeleteThree is the hardest but the best age ever.
Hugs, Linda
What a breath of fresh air. The colors and shapes are a delight to the eyes.
ReplyDeleteSuch happy colors on your card! I love it and don't feel your daisy is sparse. So does warming up in your neck of the woods mean you've hit the teens now?

ReplyDeleteI love this cheery card, LeAnne. It doesn't need another flower; it's perfect "as is"! Great use of the sweet circular elements. Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink this week.
ReplyDeleteGreat colours and textures on this card. I love the embossed spots. Chantell JAI
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to get over here to comment on this gorgeous card and finally made it.
ReplyDeleteI love the bright cheery colours and the pretty daisy. Beautiful was to tackle this challenge. This is a wonderful reminder that Spring will come again.
Five may be easier to show than 3 Cassidy, but I'm sure your Grammy doesn't want you grow up that quickly;)
Great challenge combination LeAnne, they work beautifully together..:0) Love your fresh clean almost "Retro" card and l agree with Christine, it doesn't need another daisy..:0)
ReplyDeleteGosh, Cassidy is growing so fast LeAnne, l really enjoy, although spasmodically watching her grow through your pics, such a sweetie! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink.
