Paper Players 172

DSCF8964

Happy Sunday, peeps!  Hope you are having a marvelous weekend!  Nance is our hostess today for the Paper Players and here is the fine challenge she has for us:

I knew immediately what I wanted to do when I saw this challenge, as my sweet blogging friend Tracey had just sent me some lovely diecut leaves!  She was most generous, so I looked through my stash and found some that matched this fun polka-dotted paper and went to work:

I added a stitched mat in Marina Mist and a little tag with a PTI birthday sentiment, and I was done!

This is one of my favorite CAS cards ever!  How will you interpret this challenge?  Our designers have come up with some clever creations that I hope you’ll check out:
And be sure to share your creation with us as well!  Can’t wait to see it!

Cassidy was really putting some elbow grease into rolling her cookies this week:

And standing on the chair really helps!

These are her own creations made with the leftover dough scraps!  They were actually pretty yummy!

  1. Happy sigh...LeAnne, this is adorable! It doesn't get much better than polka dots, leaves and linen thread in my book! Love the stitched mat and the bright pop of the leaf on the DSP. Fabulous! Thanks for rockin' my challenge!

  2. I love how the leaf really "pops" on the DSP! The stitched edge was a super touch too.

  4. That Tracey is a sweetheart and your leaf looks right at home on the polka dot paper! And I do love little Betty homemaker's methods ;)

  6. LeAnne, that simple leaf is perfect with the polka dot background. Framing it with the blue and matting it onto white was genius. Fabulous card.
