Merry Monday 84

DSCF9173-001

Woohoo, it’s Monday!  Hope you had a terrific weekend….and ready for another Merry Monday challenge:

I had had this idea kicking around in my head for a while: to use a pennant die to make a tree.  When I saw Lesley’s challenge, I knew this was the time:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Merry Monday 84

I cut out the pennant from some MME Lost & Found Christmas paper, backing it with some champagne glimmer paper.  It looked a bit plain, so I punched out some little circles from the same papers to make “ornaments”.  The sentiment is from Amy R’s Handy Christmas Greetings:

The final touch was a rustic star!  I was also inspired by the photo at  Inspired By #96:

I am also linking this to my friend Trisha's "All Things Christmas" link party!

Hope you like it and you’ll play along with us as well.  Check out all the designs at Lesley’s blog, Always Playing with Paper!

Enjoy your day!

  1. Great idea LeAnne, love this sparkly tree! You've probably sparked an idea across blogland!! When our son was Cassidy's age he had little plastic tools and insisted his hammer was the screwdriver and pronounced it "skews driver"!!
