Happy Monday, peeps! And a shout out to all the veterans out there. It tears me up each time I think of the men and women who were and are willing to serve our great country! Take time to thank someone today!
Lesley has a fabulous inspiration for today’s Merry Monday challenge:
Oh my, oh my, I just loooooove this little vignette, but how I struggled to translate it into a card!!! Does that ever happen to you? After much thought (and I’m still not thrilled with it), I came up with this:
I used Confetti White for my snowflake-embossed mat on top of a Raspberry Ripple card, and stamped my little mitten sign on a piece of birch bark paper from the Thankful Tablescape kit found in the Holiday Mini:
I just love the rustic look it gives my little sign! I added some glimmer paper stars and baker’s twine to hang my sign. And on the inside, a simple sentiment:
I also used the Freshly Made Sketches sketch 111 from this week, squeaking it in right under the wire:
The design team was just blown away by all the beautiful submissions last week, so we are looking forward to what you create with this week’s as well! Be sure to hop over to Lesley’s blog, Always Playing with Paper, to share it with us during the week! Thanks for visiting!
