ColourQ199

DSCF6643

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  It’s time for another cool color inspiration from Arielle at ColourQ:

Isn’t this gorgeous?  I would not have room for this in my house—doesn’t match my décor—but luckily I can play with the colors on my card!!!

LeAnne Pugliese _CQC199 Pink Paislee Bird

I saw a wonderful card this weekend by Deb Fearns and I set out to replicate her hexagon treatment!  I just loved it!  I inked up the raised portion of my hexagon embossing folder and “stamped” my card stock.  Worked like a charm!  What a cool idea!  Thanks, Deb!  I added a little tag with some collage-style stamping and a raised bird diecut:

I am also entering this in the “Tie it On” challenge at the Kraft Journal this week!  I can’t wait to see what you create with these pretty colors and inspiration.  Share them with us at the ColourQ blog!  Have fun!

Cassidy is riding the boats at Funland on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware….where I took Dana when she was little, and my parents took me!

  8. So pretty, LeAnne!! I love how you combined all the different textures.

I also love seeing the traditions carried on from generation to generation. Ocean City, NJ was my family spot growing up and now my brother is taking his son there. Cassidy looks so cute! Love those summertime traditions with the boardwalk and rides at night.
