Yay! Happy Friday, peeps! This is going to be short & sweet, it is a beautiful day and my craft room looks like a bomb went off, so it will be clean-up time, then outside to spend some time with my wee one!
We have a big party to attend tomorrow that celebrates three events—a graduation, an engagement and a 25th wedding anniversary! Yikes! So I have been busy trying to stamp some cards so most everything I’ve done for the next few days has been easy and CAS. My engagement card uses the Freshly Made Sketches sketch for this week:
How sweet and easy is that? I have had this PTI paper for a long, long time, and just now cracked it open:
I used a sentiment from a little PTI set, too….and made a scalloped edge of Strawberry Slush and it was done. I resisted the desire to add some doodads, as this couple is not a doodad kind of couple, but they will appreciate the pun!!!
Enjoying some hopscotch action!!! We also play other games, hence the other chalk art!!!
Cute! Punny cards are always a hit!
ReplyDeleteVery cute and simple card LeAnne. How cute are the chalk designs. Good luck on cleaning. Mine only seems to stay clean for a short time. :-(
ReplyDeleteAdorable card I love it when the paper does the work. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteThe chalk games look like great fun. I am at the cabin trapped inside by the mosquitoes. They are so bad I can't stand it.
Very cute card LeAnne! And boy oh boy if you could only bottle Cassisy's energy!!
ReplyDeleteYour card is really cute! I always like a good pun, too.
ReplyDeleteAnd I noticed art imitates life because your adorable girl is standing in a pear in the last photo. :)
Love this paper! And I think it looks awesome by itself - no doodads needed! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous paper and I love all of the chalk drawings!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, LeAnne! I love your card, but the chalk drawings are out-of-this world good! It looks like so much fun! Thanks for leaving such a sweet comment about my sketch this week on the FMS blog and I'm so glad you played along!
ReplyDeleteCute card, LeAnne! I love the dsp and I always like punny cards.
ReplyDeleteLove the card with the pretty colors and pears! And I love the pictures of Cassidy having so much fun! What a delight!
