Happy Saturday, peeps! Just a quick little card today for you…really easy-peasy, using the Color Throwdown colors and the Freshly Made Sketches sketch:
I was so hankering these little cloud dies that I saw on Tracey’s card here…and then something told me I had better check my stash, and lo and behold, I ALREADY HAD THEM!!!! And I had never used them!!! So I went to work, quick as a bunny, to make this card:
Used some gingham stamps, the Cloudy Day embossing folder from SU (only a short time left to get it….it’s not in the new catalog!!!!) and a triple-layer cardstock button (another retiring item!!!) along with a sentiment from Lil’ Inkers. Fun, quick & easy! And remember, if you have any questions, shoot me an email!
John put Cassidy’s toddler swing back up yesterday, and after a long, long swing in it herself, she informed me she was bringing Lambie and her babies to swing in it, too:
Enjoy your day!
Love, love this card! The cloud background is so perfect with the big clouds! Can't believe how big Cassidy is getting. Too cute with the swing!
ReplyDeleteLove this card, LeAnne. I was just thinking of clouds for FMS...back to the drawing board...lol. Thanks for sharing your talent with us;)
ReplyDeleteGreat card. Love the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteAdorable photos of Cassidy
At least you remembered to check your stash before you bought the cloud dies! I think I've found two of something in my stash once in a while! LOL! And nice work carrying thought the cloud theme to the embossed background. Love the apt sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteGood thing you found those clouds before you ordered! Love that sentiment!
ReplyDeleteGreat card LeAnne! I love the cloud embossing with the cloud dies layered on the gingham! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteI love this, LeeAnne! So sweet with the embossed cloud background and the sunny yellow gingham! The little sentiment tabs are an awesome idea for this sketch!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, LeAnne! I'm not sure what I would have done with that color combination, but I know it wouldn't have come out looking as good as your card. Love the gingham and the clouds. Very sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love that sentiment and all the card elements just pulled it all together.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card, LeAnne! I'm in love with the stitched dies from Lil' Inker. Thanks for joining us at the CTD. :)
