I hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday! Today I am attending an upline meeting, and I wanted to show you my swap. I am a big fan of SIMPLE swaps…..I am too lazy to put tons of layers and intensity into my cards!!! My theory is that if you are going to show these to your customers, they need to be easily replicated! So I put the new Merry Mini punch pack to work along with some beautiful sentiments from More Merry Messages in the beautiful In Color, Midnight Muse:
I just love this serene little scene! You can’t tell from the photo, but the “snowflakes” on the hill are sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds glitter, too! Sweet and simple! I hope everyone likes them!
I also am doing a demo on how to make shabby ribbons, so I made this as my 3D gift:
Can you believe that this is a toilet paper roll? I pinned this from this post on Pinterest! It’s covered with Fan Fair DP, on which I stamped several vintage images from Postage Due, Creative Elements, Artistic Etchings and Established Elegance in Island Indigo. I added a shabby bow from Baja Breeze seam binding and some Fabulous Phrases sentiments. This is what’s inside:
I made another one of these earlier, but had never posted it, so here you go:
A fun way to recycle!!! Thanks for visiting today! Be sure to come back tomorrow for the latest Paper Players challenge!

ReplyDeleteHa ha LeAnne look at my blog from yesterdays post and are we on the same page. I made this about a month ago to show at Fall Fest and then made another one with the ribbon wrapped around the two tags die. I have never shared the latter but yours are darling. Dang I wish I could come to your meeting so I could see how you make the ribbon like that. Did you ever find your tutorial? I will have to post my Patio Party one later. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely weekend. Hugs, Bev

Omigosh, a TOILET PAPER ROLL? Too clever! Love all these, and couldn't agree more on samples and swaps. Love the silvery paper on the first one, too:) Hope you had a wonderful weekend, my friend! :)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo. I'm back on line. Got mu desk cleaned off and the lap top set up so I can cruise blogland again. This card is oh so sweet and simple. Love that new color and the way you can take me right to winter with just a few pieces of paper. Love the idea of the toilet paper roll gift container. You bet I will be saving those up from now on. Maybe a Valentine one with a little candy in a baggie inside. Super idea. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHugs and much love, Martha
The card is simply but elegantly beautiful, LeAnne! And isn't it ingenious to us a toilet paper roll to make a "gift bag". I love the lace holder and tab.
ReplyDeleteThose "bags" are awesome! I've been saving TP rolls for Liam to use for crafts- these may turn into Halloween bags for him to giveaway... or I may confiscate them all for my use. ;) LOVE the card too- simple, graphic, and I really like the shape of the snow- reminiscent of the moon.
