Happy Friday to everyone! I am gearing up for a meeting with my upline Pennie and lots of other Rubber Dubbers tomorrow! Can’t wait to see old friends and make some new ones! Meanwhile, I whipped up a quick little card yesterday using Decorate a Daisy and the Freshly Made Sketches sketch 53 from Tui:
And here’s my 4 1/4” square card:
I used some 1/2” strips of digi paper I had laying around; the daisy was inked with So Saffron ink, and then I used a More Mustard marker on the inside and outside edges of the image for some depth.
The center was stamped in Lucky Limeade and mounted on a piece punched out with that sweet little new 1 1/4” scallop punch! Sentiment is from Fabulous Phrases. I also embossed the front of the card with the Stripes EF running horizontally for some interest!
Cassidy was getting up close & personal with a spider’s nest nestled inside our hose reel! If that were me, one look at a spider, and I’d be running!!
Thanks for visiting today!
As always, LeAnne, I've enjoyed catching up on your posts for this week. You are so inspiring! And Cassidy is so adorable!

ReplyDeleteI thought this sketch looked really scary, but you have nailed it. Love those colourful strips of paper and that sunflower is great.
ReplyDeleteI love all the hearts all over Cassidy's jacket.......I wouldn't be that close to a spider either if I could help it;)
I'm with everyone else... love how you used the stripes embossing folder to set off the strips of the sketch. Very pretty card, LeAnne! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
