Hi everyone! It’s Sunday, and it’s Anne Marie’s turn to be our hostess at the Paper Players! She has a Tic Tac Toe challenge for us today:
I had just seen a lovely gray and yellow purse in church last week, so I was excited to see one of the columns featured just that color combo! I was also excited to use some chipboard I had been hoarding!! Here ya go:
The sentiment is from PTI; the panel is stamped with Established Elegance in Basic Gray ink; all papers are from MME. The sketch is from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday:
I just love this little embellishment! And of course, I had to make a shabby bow! I used white seam binding dyed with So Saffron, River Rock, Crumb Cake and More Mustard inks!
I sure hope that you will play along with the Paper Players this week….this is a fun challenge with lots of possibilities….and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
And finally, I took Cassidy to my SIL’s house to see my niece’s newborn and her two-year-old, Trent. Tricia let Cassidy get up close and personal, showing her Chaz’s little toes, which both toddlers just thought was hysterical!
I don’t think Chaz was too impressed, though! Thanks for visiting today!
Oh LeAnne, I LOVE your card! I tried hard to find some yellow/grey paper and must have missed that MME pack. The colours are lovely together and that chipboard is awesome!!! Wow!
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet pictures of the kids! Love newborn babies...hehe!!
beautiful card! Love the bow on this one along with that chipboard element. I see why you were hoarding it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous what you did with the seam binding! Did you make up the combo yourself? Is that the copper glitter paper? Did the chipboard embelly come that way? You have such an eye for putting pieces together -- the wallpaper motif in the first layer (I know there's a word for it but I can't think of it so I'm writing two sentences instead of one word!), then the basically gingham print and then stripes! Stunning LeAnne!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course I love seeing Cassidy - your picture reminds me of the awe with which small children approach babies - it's something I'm afraid we take for granted sometimes!
So sweet to see the little ones with the baby. Baby feet make me giggle too.
ReplyDeleteReally cool card. Love how you got your color inspiration from a purse you saw at church. Don't you call it a pocketbook? LOL
Fabulous card! My goodness, there is so much wonderful-ness there that I won't even try to describe it all!! And the pictures of the little ones -- how much fun was that!!!! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteTotally gorgeous, love the scrunched up ribbon, such a great idea (thanks). Those little ones are just too fun to see ~ the giggling made me smile :) Hugs, Emma xx

ReplyDeleteWell of course I love the card! Any card with seam binding is good place to start! However, the pics of the kids cracked me up! The last one with Chaz just kickin' back while Tent and Cassidy get a good laugh about his tiny feet and toes...what a great moment to catch!
