Well, between battling stink bugs and getting ready for a church yard sale yesterday , I did squeeze in some time to make a baby card for our youth pastor and his wife! This is a very loose interpretation of the iSpy sketch from this week:
and I wanted to use the “shoe" inspiration from the cue card at CAS-ology, but this really isn’t that CAS. Here we go:
Some cute MME papers, a (sadly) retired Cornish Heritage Farms image and a little paper button wraps it up. I popped up the shoes and gave them a little pink hue:
Sweet as can be! Now, for a few more swaps from last week’s meeting:
From Cheryl Hutchinson:
From Buffy Allen:
And from Kristi Beck:
More beautiful creations!
And here’s a little beauty:
Be sure to come back tomorrow for a fun Paper Players challenge!
What a great card and I love the sentiment along with those shoes.
ReplyDeleteThis card is delightful, LeAnne!!! I love the colors and the way you popped up the shoes on the sentiment is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you had to deal with stinkbugs yesterday - nasty little things, aren't they? This is prime season for them. We are constantly on the lookout for them around here as well and it doesn't help matters that Ms. Lexi likes to "hunt" them...
Such a sweet little baby girl card
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards So many wonderful ideas.
ReplyDeleteGood Idea to match the shirt and the popsicle then you don't see the drips. lol She is so sweet.
I have the same chair cushions on my outside chairs at the cabin.
hey girlfriend, love your baby card. Just darling and so is the picture of Cassie. Love both. Hugs, Bev
ReplyDeleteShe is definitely a beauty and looks so cheerful too.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet card. Cute paper and adorable image.
Stink bugs?? Sounds awful. I hope the church yard sale went well though.
Your little shoes are so cute. Love the background paper, the sentiment and that fun button!
