Monday already? Where did the weekend go? It was a whirlwind at our house, lots of activities going on! Hope yours was good too! It’s time for our 32nd sketch from Lesley for Merry Monday! I am loving this one:
I felt like doing a vintage card, so I checked my stash and I already had this lovely little girl printed from a digital image, so I used an oval Nestie to cut her out and matched up some pretty DPs:
I did stamp a few snowflakes on the blue piece, and the sentiment (crooked, alas) on the lighter panel, but the rest is just glimmer and sparkle! SU’s new Champagne Glimmer paper was a perfect match for my three “ribbons” as well as a scalloped border:
I also added some snowy glitter to her cape. I just LOVE this sweet little image! I hope you’ll find some time this week to make a Christmas card for your stash using this fine sketch from Lesley. Be sure to see what the other nimble-fingered stampers created with the sketch at Lesley’s blog, Always Playing with Paper! We can’t wait to see your creation!
Cassidy just can’t quite get the hang of blowing that pinwheel!
What a beautiful image, LeAnn! I love the "snow" you put on her cape. Perfect! Cassidy and the pinwheel is just as cute!
ReplyDeleteLove your vintage card and maybe you have inspired me to try and do one with this sketch.
ReplyDeleteCassidy is such a ham, she always makes me laugh.
Beautiful card, LeAnne! I love that you stamped on the patterned paper. You can't tell the sentiment is crooked! It looks like Cassidy is trying to eat the pinwheel. lol

Terry
