Happy Saturday peeps! I have a pretty fall card for you today---this Impression Obsession stamp is one I fell in love with and just HAD to have and this is the first time getting it inky!
I used one of my favorite layouts, stamped the images in Palette Noir and colored them with Copics. The faint leaf image behind the sentiment was stamped in Versamark and very, very lightly brushed with some pastel chalk. These images fit nicely in the 1” square punch and I used the Postage Stamp punch for the borders in Early Espresso. DP is Orchard Harvest.
Even though I’ll be taking a little blogging break next week….some well-deserved R&R coming up…… I will still be hosting the Paper Players tomorrow, so be sure to pop in to see my sketch challenge and play along!
Cassidy wanted to show Grampy what she finally learned to do:
She finally grew tall enough to grab on and swing!!!!
What a wonderful fall card and the layout is one I might have to just steal.
ReplyDeleteGood for Cassidy finally reaching the bars.
Love your card! Cassidy is so cute. I know you cherish these moments.
ReplyDeleteThat is one gorgeous fall card! I am beginning to think your maiden name was Van Gogh! And how cute is that little gymnast!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous LeAnne, those little inchie squares are wonderful coloured with Copics. Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and sweet pictures. Such a proud moment!
ReplyDeleteLove those little inchies on your card and the look on Cassidy's face is priceless as she has those eyes turned toward her Grampy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Cassidy -- you are growing so big now.... what fun you will have on your play structure. You are so adorable.
ReplyDeleteLeAnne I do like this Fall card (even though I am NOT ready for Fall to arrive yet-heehee). These little postage stamp images are wonderful and you have coloured them so perfectly. Pretty DP. I really need some time in my craft room soon.
Have a great week of R&R next week.
I was just heading to the craft room to make some fall cards, but I stopped by the computer to look for a little inspiration. And, there you are with another wonderful, creative card. Love it. Love the little pumpkin on a swing. My little bumpkin just got a swingset last weekend from a friend, and daddy just loves taking her out to swing. He's already talking about towers, rope climbs, and bridges he wants to add to it. Gotta love those big boys, too.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love fall so this card is right up my alley. Great colors and I love the simple layout.
ReplyDeleteTumbling and gymnastics class coming up soon! ;) GREAT card! I'm not ready for the end of summer but I'm ALWAYS ready for fall and this definitely has that feel.
ReplyDeleteWow...this card is so stunning. Great design and I love the mix of colors.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn card!
