I have been trying to enter another Nacho Average Challenge for a couple of weeks…..when I saw this week’s sketch, I knew I had to give it a shot:
Of course, I had to be off-the-wall and put embossing where the sentiment was supposed to go….sigh. I must have never followed directions as a child! Here ya go:
I finally was able to use some of my new Howlstooth and Scaringbone DP…..how’s that for a name, cracks me up! I paired it with Spooky Bingo Bits, a 1” circle punch and the new CUTE 1 1/4” scallop punch. Makes quick work of these little scary critters:
This is also for Terry’s Great Pumpkin Blog Hop! You can visit her blog to participate as well!
Swimming with Trent, my great-nephew:
Thanks for visiting!
I love, love, love the card!! But I have to say that pictures of the kids just steal the show! Especially that last one!! I can almost hear the laughter!! Soooo flippin' cute!!
ReplyDeleteOh how cool! This card is just super! I'm not ready to think about Halloween yet...or at least I didn't think I was until I saw your card. Super cute! And your bathing beauties are super cute too! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to comment on your blog for some time now and never end up getting here. I love all your cards you share but I love the photos of your grand-daughter too. They bring fond memories of my girls when they were younger. Mine are still children but I think this age is just gorgeous. They are so innocent and carefree. I'll make sure to pop back more often and leave comments for you. Thanks for sharing all your gorgeous card creations.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to second the LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card! What a great Halloween card!
ReplyDeleteThose kiddles look so happy! I love your card, LeAnne. I think those little Spooky Bingo Bits are the cutest, as well as the strips of dsp.
ReplyDeleteThanks for adding your card to my blog hop!
Hugs,
Terry
Although I DO NOT do Halloween, that is a cute card. I think it will look really cute for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable!! And, I love the embossing in place of the sentiment! perfect!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic fantastic card! I love it it.
ReplyDeleteAnd sweet picture!
I think your embossing looks better than a sentiment would in that corner. I'm kind of with Gisela on the whole Halloween thing - not my favorite holiday, but it's a great card - might have to try that banner look myself.
ReplyDeleteAnd in case you needed reminding, that granddaughter of yours is just gorgeous. That second picture is priceless.
Adorable - the photos and your card!
ReplyDeletecan Halloween possibly be just around the corner? I can tell time is ticking by how big that little gilr has gotten!!!! Wow we need to slow this life down! LOL! Love the layout of this card LeAnne and have to try one myself....Hope all is well looks like it from the photos!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, fun card and cute use of the halloween set.
ReplyDeleteI don't do many Halloween cards but I love this one!! May have to CASE!!! Thanks for playing
ReplyDeleteHalloween will be here before we know it! Great card! Thanks for playing with the Nachos.
ReplyDeleteGreat job adding the embossing folder. I like your DSO choices. Thanks for joining our challenge this week-
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, I just LOVE your work! I stop by regularly to see what challenges you are creating for, and I always find inspiration.
ReplyDeleteAnd I truly love this adorable little halloween treat! I think you did a fabulous job pairing the DSP with the stamped images.
And I have to admit, I have that tiny tag stamp set, and I have never stamped the dotted outline, but WOW! It really does give that tiny tag some punch! Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous card!
Thank you for playing along with us @ NAC, again!
Super Cute Card! Love that you did the embossing instead of a sentiment. Lol! I didn't put a sentiment down there either. I guess I'm still not good at following directions. :)
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, you never cease to amaze me!! Love the DSP made into banners and the individual images. The "boo" tag is such a cute addition. I have to remember I have that set!! You know I love your work! :) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I'm glad you won, that is one cute card.
ReplyDeleteI love this LeAnne - it is adorable. Love the picture of the little swimmers ;)
