ColourQ138 & ISSC16

  CQC138-LeAnne

Woohoo!  It’s Tuesday, and that means another ColourQ!  Check out this stylish inspiration photo:

Let’s just say that these will not be a part of MY wardrobe any time soon!  I am more of a flipflops/flats kind of girl!  Besides, DH would be looking up at me if I wore these!  But it did give me a chance to use a fun set to make a cute card for a special friend:

I made my own DP by stamping some floral images in the challenge colors; I stamped that stylish pump in Poppy Parade,  and some script background in Pool Party, and then put it all together using the sketch from iSpy Sketches:

I thought the sketch was a bit challenging, but it came together more easily than I anticipated!!  But you’ve got to read the inside:

Aw, isn’t that fun?!  I hope you can play along with us this week as well!  Share your creation over at the ColourQ blog and see what the other designers fabricated with these fun colors---I am sure you’ll be inspired!

This what happens when you’re ready for a walk in the stroller and your grammy needs to run back inside for her cell:

  1. LOVE this LeAnne! You rocked those colors and I love the dsp you made--how fresh and fun these colors look together. Great use of the sketch too and I adore the inside! Oh how I remember that stiff as a board protest move--it's been long enough now that I can laugh about it, LOL!

  3. It looks like she is almost getting to big for that stroller. What a cutie.
Great card! I never every had a pair of shoes. I am always amazed at people who can walk in them. My mom did but here leg and toe were so bad That may be why I was never interested.
Anyway I love the card, the colors and the lay out. I really love the way you stamped the flowers. Very pretty.

  17. Cassidy is so funny! She looks like she is fighting a nap & will not give in!! ;) I love this card, great stamped multicolored panel behind the shoe. And wonderful take on the sketch, I love the bracket shape you used at the top!! :) I hear you & Sylvia, I wear flip flops, clogs, and running shoes, occasionally a wedge type heel but not anything like a pump! Can you imagine me running after three boys in pumps? Or you running after Cassidy in pumps? Or Sylvia trying to make her beautiful garden in that shoe? ;) have a fabulous day!
