Here’s a quick little post featuring a CAS card I did for Monday’s SCS CAS sketch challenge:
I stamped the pumpkin image on some watercolor paper and colored it an aquapainter and reinkers, then layered it on a Crumb Cake circle and a panel of retired Christmas DP, the name of which I cannot remember (and am too lazy to look up!). I did some paper piercing on the layer, too:
Sweet! This also qualifies for the Kraft Journal’s Make it Monday challenge of Lavish Layers—I count six! Thanks for visiting today, too!
Wee Details:
- Stamps: Window on the World, Linen (both retired)
- Paper: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Christmas DP
- Ink: Stazon, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard, Old Olive, Sahara Sand
- Acc: Lots of Tags Die, Nestie, Circle Punch, Paper Piercer, Aquapainter, Sponge Dauber
Both of your adorable little pumpkins are oh-so-sweet! Beautiful CAS card, and your granddaughter is getting so big!
ReplyDeleteYou're such an artist!! Great coloring, it seems some of the stamps I like the best are retired!

ReplyDeleteSorry I'm so far behind lately... just looked at your last 5-6 posts and they're all awesome, as usual! And Cassidy gets bigger and cuter all the time!
Beautiful simplicity! I love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the deceptive simplicity of the card! And I just have to say, I thoroughly enjoy seeing smiling pictures of your granddaughter! She is growing up so fast! I really feel as if I know her! (Which means I want to buy her things since I don't have one of my own yet! hee hee)
ReplyDeleteCrack open that pumpkin and LETS make some soup and CRAFT a while, eh!?! THIS one just makes me GLAD! YOU are SUCH a wonderful artist, my sweet friend!

ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't recognize those pumpkins as being from "Window on the World" - I have that set and now I'll be digging it out to play with it!! Thanks for all your wonderful cards, and pics of the little cutie! I will keep your family in my prayers - how scary for DH to have a medical emergency!
