I finally had a chance to use a Stamping 411 sketch, which I haven’t been able to do lately:
I hadn’t inked up the little Thanksgiving turkey image from Gift Givers, so I stamped him in Soft Suede and paired him with some Spice Cake DP:
I have to admit, I am not too fond of my blender pen coloring here….I guess I was in too much of a hurry! Or I am used to watercoloring! Anyway, I added some punched borders and a fun little diecut leaf that I embossed after I cut it out:
The embossing did make it a bit fragile, so I cut it apart and glued them in a random pattern; the button and linen thread sort of ties it all together! I used a sentiment and leaf from Day of Gratitude for the inside:
Wee Details:
- Stamps: Gift Givers, Day of Gratitude
- Paper: Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, More Mustard, Very Vanilla, Spice Cake DP
- Ink: Soft Suede, More Mustard, Pear Pizzazz, River Rock
- Acc: Curly Label Punch, Little Leaves Die, Regals Button, Linen Thread, Blender Pen, Scallop Border & Scallop Edge Border Punches, Paper Piercer, Dimensionals, Daubers, Square Lattice Embossing Folder
