Sunday, beautiful Sunday! It’s another Paper Players day, and Nance is our lovely hostess with a sketch:
Of course, after I finish my card, I realize the sentiment is to be in the lower right hand corner…..oops! I am always in such a hurry! I hope Nance doesn’t mind! I used Established Elegance last week for a masculine card, so I thought today I would use it for a feminine card. I just love all the elements in this set—so vintage-y lovely!
I used different patterns of the Beau Chateau DP for my panels, the main one embossed with the Stripes embossing folder and sponged a bit with Sahara Sand ink. I cut around the flowers on my vertical panel, stamped a few images and added a couple scalloped edges and embellishments full of vintage goodness:
I added a sentiment from Bring on the Cake for the inside:
I hope you’ll find some time to play with this versatile sketch that Nance has created! Wander on over to the Paper Players blog to see what the other designers have created and share your creation with us too!
Wee Details:
- Stamps: Established Elegance, Tiny Tags, Bring on the Cake

It's amazing how Ladies can look at a sketch and build something entirely different from it! I don't play these sketch challenges but enjoy looking at what you come up with!

ReplyDeleteLeAnne,
ReplyDeleteThis is just absolutely brilliant and stunning. I love how you used the flowers directly from the DSP for the long banner. All the elements are just mind boggling - the sueded paper, the jewels, the clothespin the ribbon and the stamped tag. Just fabulous!
LeAnne - I love the double scallop border on your vertical panel. The soft vintage look of your card is so appealing and any recipient would be so thrilled to get it. I love that little clothespin too - such a great touch!
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with you - I feel like I've been absent for so long but I hope to catch up on everything soon.
