PPA45 Inspiration

DSCF8070

I needed a card for an upcoming bridal shower, and this week’s Pal’s Paper Arts Inspiration Challenge was just what I needed to get started:

PPA45

The bride loves green, and is quite fond of Vera Bradley, so I sort of did a mix of paisley and the above colors.  I knew I had gotten some beautiful floral DP in a blog candy win, so I fussy cut them out (I love that expression!) and used them as my focal point:

The background Paisley stamp as well as the sentiment from Beautiful Beach are both retired, unfortunately.  (Wish I had stamped that sentiment with my Stamp-a-ma-Jig!).  The striped paper is the flip side of the floral, and I added some grosgrain ribbons to imitate the stripes on the inspiration pillow.  I computer-generated the inside sentiment:

Now off to do the rest of my chores for the day!  Hope it’s a blessing-filled one for you!

  • Stamps:  Beautiful Beach, Paisley (ret SU)
  • Paper:  WW, Unknown DP
  • Ink:  Stazon, Kiwi Kiss
  • Acc:  Grosgrain Ribbons, Dimensionals, Designer Label Punch, Computer
