My daughter is expecting in August. This is quite amusing to me, as she told me repeatedly as a little girl that she was not going to ever have children. LOL! I wanted to make her a mother-to-be Mother’s Day card, and on SCS on Thursday, the challenge was to use pins, so this is what I made for her (she’s having a girl!):
I didn’t have any diaper pins, but I thought a big safety pin would suffice! The retired Feathered Friends image was stamped in Stazon on Shimmery White CS and watercolored. I added a little yellow felt nestie background, some twill and a button. The inside sentiment was computer-generated:
I hope each & every one of you moms out there have a wonderful, blessed Mother’s Day. Hopefully I can stop back later with a Christmas card---we’ll see how the day goes!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Grandmother to be! This is sooooooo cute! I love it. That stamp is perfect. I love the colors and the way you put it all together. Isn't fun knowing what they are having a head of time? Some people think it take the fun out of it but you just get to have the fun start earlier. One friend found out she was having a third boy and was very sad but that gave her time to get use to it and she was fine by the time he was born. She says he is the best baby every.
